The views were amazing from our Queen Room with Sea View, with the sunset painting the ocean in golden hues each evening. Wine hour was a magical experience, with delicious appetizers and the warmest company right on the wrap-around porch. Every morning featured a good home-cooked breakfast that was plentiful and varied, setting a perfect tone for the day!

Stunning ocean views made our stay truly special. Parking was tight, making it difficult at times. The 5 PM happy hour with wine and cookies was delightful.

this place had potential but disappointingly fell short, the room was cramped, barely fitting a queen bed, and i was shocked no one offered a drink upon arrival, truly an affront to my expected treatment. the breakfast lacked any decent protein options too, guess they expect you to survive on pastries alone. a pity, really.

Avonlea Bed & Breakfast is perfectly located right in the center of everything we wanted, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The amazing ocean views from our queen room with sea view made for a beautiful stay. Sabrina and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

The afternoon wine hour with homemade cookies was a lovely touch, fostering a great environment. I loved sitting on the porch, admiring stunning views of the ocean each evening. The room, however, felt cramped at times. my Queen Room barely had space for luggage. Despite the small size, the cleanliness and decor were impressive. The location was perfect—close enough to the ferry and restaurants yet quiet. I appreciated the beach towels and chairs provided by the inn. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with room for some improvements.

during my stay, I enjoyed sitting in an Adirondack chair overlooking the harbor with a good book while sipping coffee, and the easy walk to nearby Nathan Mott Park a few steps away was perfect for a serene afternoon stroll.
